If they can bring them here to the U.S and price it fair im sure it would sell out and have waiting lists. Just dont know why nissan isnt putting a better effort into doing that, i think there going to bring the GTR which is the G35 modded i think not too sure, ive seen a few pics of it in magazines but id prefer the skyline anyday, handles, breaks and accelerates with ease.

I think the new Skyline will disappoint in camparison to its older version's. I hope that I'm wrong. Maybe Toyota will release a new Supra someday...

FOR YEARS SOME OF THE CARS THAT WE CRAVE EITHER NEVER MAKE IT TO THE STATES OR IF THEY DO THEY ARE DETUNED OR MISSING OPTIONS THAT ARE AVALABLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD! I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY WE CAN'T JUST HAVE WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE'S HAVING? THE EPA SHOULD LOOSEN UP A LITTLE.

From What I have seen on the net and a few articles from reputable sources, Nissan will infact release the "skyline" in the states. Rumor has it, it will a variant based off the current Vq Motor which will have forced induction and is aimed at competeing against the porsche. However, it will not be priced the same as the current g35/skyline it will be around 60k. Another issue is wheater or not it

The G35 coupé is a very capable car, but not as good as a Skyline. The RB26DETT is a monster compared to the VQ35DE engine.

I think we should just buy a ship steal go to Japan, steal a bunch of GtR's and ship em back here. We can slap our license plates on them and tell the dmv that they are really Saturn's! Know one will know! Members only on this trip by the way!

^^ There will be no Skyline GTR badge anymore. The car will be for ever be legendary writen in history book as one of the greatest car of the century before the year 2000. The new Infinity GTR will be presented in 2007 and we all woun't see it on the streets before early 2008. The car will be twin-turbo 3.2L VQ32-DETT V6 480bhp stock with advanched high tech e-4WD electrical motors..

.. to asist the front wheels when traction lost at the rear. The car will be light weight aluminium chassis with carbon fiber body, hopefully less then 1390 kg (alot less then the current 350Z). To be honest I'm not a big fan of the G35 Coupe totally different from the Skyline R34 GTR in comparisation. G35 Coupe is an big disepointment to me but I have hope on the new 2007 Infinity GTR :D

personally i love the way the G35 coupe looks. the infiniti gtr will look different than the g35 coupe that is out today.

R32, the nicest skyline by far. Anyone from Australia here will remember in the early 90's we were the only country in the world to officially get them thru Nissan. They were rare and iconic...then comes the mid-late 90's and 1000's of dodgy grey imports from Japan and NZ came in. Then this stupid craze of ugly bodykits and graphics totally ruined the mystique. I can't stand them now.

I'm from Canada and just this past weekend I saw a Skyline R32 parked uptown where I live, obviously it's an import (Right hand drive) but it looks great. I don't understand why Canada or US didn't have these cars here. Do these cars have restrictions or illegal components, or could be used as weapons of mass destruction? I don't get it! There's a lot of crap cars here in the North America espec

^^ If I'm not wrong the car is illegal in the US, Canada or most of the European countries (except the UK) because all production car the steering was the right hand side. The car has never been made to drive on the right hand side of the road, simply that's the reasion the car is illegal in the most countries. The Skyline import price tag in the US is almost 2 times more then the original price..

^^^this month's motortrend says twin-turbo 450hp 70,000...ouch all the way around.

The Skyline being absent fromt he US market has little to do with the car being Right-hand drive. That's an easy fix. But, the car was not available in any way shape or form in the US before so it would have had to be crash-tested and pass all sorts of other tests before being able to be sold here. Nissan apparently didn't want to invest the cost on what is a niche vehicle that won't sell 100K+/yr

Plus, to recover those costs, Nissan would have had to sell thenm at a high cost to recoup their investment which would push down the sales #'s further. But, you can legally get a GT-R here through Moto-Rex which has certified and crash-tested GT-R's to make them legal in the US. www.motorex.net This explains why the next GT-R, which will come to the US is built on an existing US model, the G35
